• The Van Arendonk family has been involved in the shoe business for hundreds of years. In 1884, Jan van Arendonk was in charge of a firm of shoemakers, and in 1967, Janus van Arendonk and his wife opened their first shoe shop in Breda. Other branches have now been opened in 's Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Groningen.
